Intellectual Property Rights of Harland Simon acquired by manroland Goss Group

manroland Goss, being the high-performance business partner for the print industry, further expands its Engineered Solutions and Service Solutions for third party equipment.

After the successful merger between manroland and Goss, announced in August of this year and as part of the ongoing strategy to establish industry partnerships that deliver value-added solutions for its customers, manroland Goss is happy to announce that a team of highly skilled engineers to support the existing Harland Simon install base has been created. Together, the team has over 100 years of experience of Harland Simon systems. Having secured the intellectual property rights for all Harland Simon products in the print industry via administrators, Trevor Binyon and Tim Dolder at Opus Restructuring & Insolvency, manroland Goss will be able to offer a wide breadth of retrofit upgrades.

“While this has been a difficult time for Harland Simon, we are very happy that as part of manroland Goss we can fully support all existing Harland Simon users with the additional backing of the worldwide sales and service teams of manroland Goss”, says Steve Withers, Senior Manager Engineered Solutions.

“This addition to the manroland Goss solutions is a clear commitment to the market”. Alexander Wassermann, CEO of manroland Goss, adds. “It reinforces the focus on growing our aftermarket and service business for the installed base worldwide”.
